Our Education
We teach the rigorous International Baccalaureate curriculum all the way from primary to upper secondary. Through our enquiry based approach to learning, students develop independent and collaborative learning skills, problem solving and critical thinking. Find out more about our programme.
We also ensure that students develop their gifts and talents through a wide range of sports, arts and cultural activities, nurturing the holistic development of each child.
Our teachers are highly qualified, experienced and committed to their ongoing professional development.
From Grade 6 onwards, our students can join our unique residential programme, enjoying community life in a multicultural environment.
Our Network
We are part of a global network of Academies, established by His Highness the Aga Khan as part of the Aga Khan Development Network. Our partners include government bodies, development agencies and universities, as well as the IB itself.
There are currently four operating Academies within the network. The staff and students collaborate to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
Our Values
We also emphasise leadership and community service throughout the programme, giving students considerable practical experience and an understanding of global issues, a sense of civic responsibility and the skills to become ethical and effective leaders.
Outstanding academic, sports, arts and residential facilities, including:
- Age and subject-appropriate classrooms;
- Well-equipped science and robotics laboratories;
- Library and resource centres;

Our Community
The five Aga Khan Strands (AK Strands), Ethics, Pluralism, Cultures, Governance and Civil Society and Economics for Development, are infused throughout the educational experience at the Academy. As the students engage with the ideas explored through the Strands they develop strong values and a pluralistic mindset.
We also emphasise leadership and community service throughout the programme, giving students considerable practical experience and an understanding of global issues, a sense of civic responsibility and the skills to become ethical and effective leaders.
