“The Aga Khan Academy Maputo has helped me develop my knowledge and implement new habits. Not only have the teachers been helping me, but the facilities provided have been very helpful. I have seen this school grow since the beginning. The science lab facilities are great. They are big enough to fit a large number of students and they make us students feel like we are in real science labs, so we don’t have to do them in normal classrooms. The labs have sinks at every table, and also have showers for emergencies. We can make science experiments like real scientists and are always supervised by our teacher. There are specific labs for specific subjects. There is one for Biology, one for Physics and one for Chemistry. The labs also have some type of equipment, which can help as a visual or practical work. For example the Biology labs have a human body model as a visual for students. Overall, the science lab facilities play a big role when we are at school. It helps keep us safe and at the same time have a good learning time.” Raisa Charania, Grade 7 student, Aga Khan Academy Maputo
